If you are experiencing difficulty in paying your mortgage, it is important to take action to protect your home.  Talk to your mortgage company as soon as possible to wok out a payment arrangement that meets your current financial situation.  You can also contact a non-profit housing counselor in your area to analyze your financial situation, assist with negotiations with your lender, and help you find legal as well as social service programs that can provide support during this critical time.
